Use your normal Curtain World domain username and password. No extra setup needed on the FortiGate.

Manual install

Use this if the one-click installer doesn't work, or if you prefer to do it step by step.

Install FortiClient VPN (free).
Download FortiClient VPN for Windows
Pick the "FortiClient VPN only" (free) edition — you don't need EMS or the paid versions.
Download the pre-configured profile.
Download cw-vpn.xml
In FortiClient: Settings (gear icon) → Backup/Restore → Restore → pick the downloaded file. If FortiClient asks for a password, leave it blank. The "Curtain World VPN" profile will appear.
Connect.
Open FortiClient → pick "Curtain World VPN" → enter your domain username and password → click Connect.

macOS doesn't have a one-click equivalent yet. It's a two-file process.

Install FortiClient VPN (free).
Download FortiClient VPN for macOS
Pick the "FortiClient VPN only" (free) edition. You'll need to approve it in System Settings → Privacy & Security after install.
Download the pre-configured profile.
Download cw-vpn.xml
In FortiClient: File → Restore (or Settings → Backup/Restore → Restore). Pick the downloaded file.
Connect.
Pick "Curtain World VPN" → enter your domain username and password → Connect.

Install FortiClient VPN from the App Store.
Open in App Store
Add a connection.
Open FortiClient → tap "Add Configuration" or the + button, and enter:

Port
18443

Any name you like (e.g. "Curtain World"). Leave SSO off. Authentication method: "prompt on connect".
Save and connect.
Enter your domain username and password when prompted. iOS will ask permission to add a VPN configuration the first time — allow it.

Install FortiClient VPN from Google Play.
Open in Google Play
Scan the QR code to import the profile (or add manually below).

In FortiClient: tap Menu → Import → Scan QR, point your phone at the image above.
Or add the connection manually:
Host vpn.curtainworld.net.au, port 18443, SSL VPN.
Connect.
Tap the profile, enter your domain username and password, connect.

Troubleshooting

Access restricted to Australia. If you're travelling internationally, the VPN will silently refuse your connection — use a travel SIM on an AU-hosted roaming plan or let IT know so we can temporarily allow your country.
Certificate warning on first connect. The VPN server uses a self-signed certificate. FortiClient will prompt you to trust it once — it's safe; say yes and it won't ask again.
Wrong password? Use the same username and password you use to log into your work computer. If you changed it recently, give it a minute to propagate.
